This was the first GP I ever watched. This amazing display of sportsmanship got me hooked on F1 and I was lucky enough to slot into F1 fandom just in time to watch Senna reach the peak of his performance.

The next three years until Senna’s death were the best years of F1.

Anyone reading this who doesn’t know much about Senna – watch the movie/documentary ‘Senna’. Highly recommended. Very poignant last 30 mins covering his and Roland Ratzenberger’s deaths on the same weekend at Imola in ‘94

I was there with a couple of mates in the group on the left side of the straight, @ 2.15 the guy with the flag drops his pants and shows his arse, we were level with him. It was a crazy few minutes we were part of Mansell Mania.
